“I love working with and motivating my clients! Every day, I see people change their habits and grow into a dedicated lifestyle of vibrant health & happiness.”
I am a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher with focus on pain management, neuromuscular facilitation, and breath awareness. I am also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with focus on postural deviations, corrective exercise, and core engagement. In addition to my certifications I have experience and knowledge in ayurveda and meditation, kickboxing, and calisthenics.
Ever since a young boy I have been highly active. I grew up in a small town in northern California where I was free to venture the outdoors and enjoy swimming, hiking, climbing, and snowboarding along with participating in high school basketball, football, track, and cheerleading. It wasn’t till my twenties when I pushed myself to injury and fatigue that I realized that balance was the key to a fit body and mind. I decided to transition my focus from bodybuilding to yoga and bodyweight training. During this time period I studied yoga, ayurveda, and expanded my mind through the practice of transcendental meditation. After years of practicing and studying yoga I chose to dive back into the world of bodybuilding, but this time with a larger prospective of the body. My passion for fitness and health grew faster and faster which lead me to studying the anatomy of the body along with exercise science. This fascination of health and fitness drove me to start my own business here in the bay area.
Throughout my journey I have tested many diets on myself such as vegetarianism, gluten free, intermediate fasting, and paleo. I have incorporated various ways of training such as bodybuilding, yoga, martial arts, calisthenics and body weight exercises.
My diversity as a trainer has grown through time from the thousands of hours of intense yoga and ayurvedic training at the Himalayan Institute in Pennsylvania to the years of studying the mechanics of the body through exercise science and personal training. I have been in the field of fitness for over 10 years and have worked with scoliosis, multiple sclerosis, herniated discs, knee replacements, rotator cuff injuries, sciatica pain, diabetes, obesity, and chronic pain.
Every training session with me is unique. I will always start the session off with asking how your body feels so I know how to instantly create a specific routine based on your body’s needs. I will constantly educate and provide proper information on nutrition, supplements, and diet planning. The workouts and flexibility routines are designed specifically based on your postural deviations, muscular imbalances, and chronic pain. You will be given the proper tools in order to reach your goals while learning fundamental techniques in order to become the best you.
